thank you, Lord, for teaching me what it means to be a slave.
no appreciation.
not much listening.
they just order.
those are the facts -- but i don't care about them.
this slavery is out of love,
and love desires nothing in return.

it's not hard.
i make no sacrifices.
i love. and i love through service.
i'm naturally in bondage to everyone around me...
because of my love.
love enslaved me.

i'm understanding it more. keep me strong.
i'll be a slave.
i love to be a slave.

romans 12:5 "...in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

galatians 5:13 "do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, [use your freedom to] serve one another in love."

serve: douleuo, which means "to be a slave to."
