We Don't Need a Word

good tree, good fruit
When we are talking with someone we want to minster to, often times we freak out if we don't hear a word for them. We just ask and ask and ask and nothing comes. We act as if this is the only way that we would be able to encourage them. But this isn't true!
God has taught us so much! We can use all the things that we know to be true about the world and about humanity and about the Lord to encourage the person.
God taught us to judge a tree by its fruits. When we see something good in someone, we should compliment them and also understand that that thing must have come from a good tree.

On an entirely separate note, I must remember that opportunities can be missed. The Lord can bring something with such a small window to act within. If I don't go boldly and immediately, I will have to miss out on whatever God is doing.

No matter how good my intentions are, I must act as soon as I hear God call me.
