21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
--Righteousness isn't by law, it's by faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, the man who has real authentic faith, were he to find himself in an uncontrollable desire to sin explicitly, would STILL BE SAVED.
I don't care for the mumbo-jumbo crap that says 'blatant sin proves you're not Christian.'

you just want a hierarchy of righteousness, which will never exist.
There are many, MANY levels of righteousness. the problem is, all but one are ALMOST IDENTICAL.
if i were to make a graph, which i am doing right now, it would like this: (haha that actually took a while..)
I see some Mother Teresa types peaking out, some Christian humanitarians and the like. Some pastors, top-of-the league guys. I see a few slackers or people struggling too...
but now let's look at a more proper graph (if you could say ANY of these are proper... haha)
we're going to compare a bunch of people to God in terms of righteousness.
And that's the point.. you can never succeed in making a 'righteousness' or 'holiness' hierarchy!
It's absolutely ridiculous. It's like one of this iddy-bitty peaks telling the other guys, follow me because I'm above all of you.
For one thing, I can barely see you Mr. Peak, and for another, there are other people just like you!! Why would anyone follow you?
You are hardly anymore sin free than any other person!
there is, of course, an answer - when God appoints you.
So wait till then, and remember that God will bring the followers, too.
